Just wondering why the authorities decided to hang Jesus on Easter Sunday of all days!
Been watching plenty of videos on Fusion power.
Many are convinced it will never happen.
Too complicated, too expensive.
If/when they do ever perfect it, it'll be too little, too late.
(basically, they're trying to invent a large scale MrFusion™)
Anyone can do fusion at home, but not if you want to gain more energy out of it than you put in.
They've been at it for 90 years, the most efficient tests today are .67 (1 = you produce the same energy as the energy you put into it, so we're not even breaking even)
No God, No fear.
Know God, Know fear.

Where in the foot is it?
Does the pain flare if anything at all touches it (even something as light as a bedsheet)?

Around the big toe area, and yes.
Just woke up, and the foot feels so much better. There's some minor pain when I touch my foot, but not as much as before. When I first woke up earlier today, the pain level was at a nine or ten. After some more rest, it's at a one or two.

Where on the foot?
Gout tends to be in the big toe, at least for the first few attacks. The toe will be hot and very sensitive to any touch. Exquisitely painful. I speak from experience.
If the pain is farther back into the arch, it is less likely to be gout and more likely to be arthritis. It can also be muscular at that point.
Ankle joints are much more likely to be arthritis or some sort of injury. Gout can show up there, but is less likely to at first.

Sounds like gout.

Definitely sounds like gout. Allupurinol is the main med, although colchicine can also be used.
Cut back on proteins. Their digestion increases the amount of uric acid in the blood. Uric acid can crystalize in the joints, producing the pain of gout.

I'm fairly certain I know what caused it, and I am taking measures to fix the issue.
Every evening when I wake up I drink coffee. Coffee, of course, dehydrates the body. Then I would work all night without drinking any fluids, then I would go home and drink a large single can of alcohol that further dehydrated me. Then I would consume my one meal of the day before heading to bed. Sometimes I would consume some water before bed, but not always.
I figure cutting coffee and alcohol from my diet, plus drinking more water should help a great deal.

The Wii sports game is quite entertaining.

Dog people say dogs are better than cats. I know that to be bullshit: you never see cats helping the cops to bust your local weed dealer.
