My sleep schedule is much better now, than before I was admitted, and now I'm told I will be released, Jebux willing, in 2 weeks time and let loose into society at large.
Twenty seven years ago, if someone had told me that the man who wrote the lyric 'I want to fuck you like an animal' would one day win an Oscar for Best Score for an animated film about jazz, I would have slapped them. Twenty seven years later, I would have to find them and apologize.

I know that there's a love/hate thing when it comes to wind chimes. I happen to like quality ones. Since our living room and kitchen are at the back of the house I can hear the chimes on the back deck and like it a lot.
So after nearly a year of working in my son's old bedroom, now my office and sewing space, I finally put a bird feeder and a set of wind chimes outside the windows. This room is on the front of the house as is the garage. It makes my hours spent in here more enjoyable. I just wonder why it took so long for me for me to have that DUH moment.

I'm wondering if people think waves upon waves is a real phenomenon, or if they just call it in singular form "wave" together in plural form "waves" ( it's called pilot waves, in case you're wondering).

He had a job using carbon fiber tubing - 2, 3 and 4 inch with a 1 1/16 th inch wall thickness - 4-6 foot long. They have a remarkable loud and clear tone that is quite low pitch. He made a huge set of windchimes that has a sound that must be experienced. I have not got good enough microphones to do a recording justice.... We moved here almost 16 years ago and they are still on the back deck. I have restrung them a couple times and the paddle to catch the breeze finally just gave out. I replaced it with a scallop shell that my husband drilled a small hole into and it works great. It's almost the exact size as the original paddle.(April 28, 2021 at 11:22 am)arewethereyet Wrote: I know that there's a love/hate thing when it comes to wind chimes. I happen to like quality ones. I have a random box of shells from Cape Hatteras and finally found a way to use one of them.

Sometimes I forget I can't talk with someone while they're wearing headphones, blasting some unheard music into their ears.
