Just don't compensate (unconsciously) with other calories, which is a common thing. I switched to black coffee many years ago and it didn't change a thing. A couple of things I've learned recently about losing weight. One is the compensation thing I just mentioned, and another is that there is a pesticide that causes people's metabolism to slow down. I can't provide cites beyond telling you to go to phys.org and look for yourself. If that isn't a reason to switch to organic produce, I don't know what is. I never really considered organic produce to be all that different, to be honest. Looks like I'll be more careful with my produce purchases, henceforth.

It's interesting how my contacts take turns in misbehaving. Last night it was my left eye, and tonight it's my right eye.

If anti-vaxxers don't trust the vaccine, they shouldn't trust the ventilators, either.

Every machine is made of parts made by other machines, and these machines are made of parts made by other machines, but it can not go like this all the way down, there must be some machine made of parts made by human hands that started it all.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Won't be any winged characters, that I know of, in my current work. If I decide to make a series, I might introduce the winged incubus into the second novel, especially since I had considered having an incubus get in a relationship with an elf.

Bat wings, I'm assuming? Love it. I'm there for it.

Maybe we were wrong all this time and the men are actually the ones who are from Venus, while women are from Mars.
