Went for coffee with my boss (who I seldom see since I work from home). We had a nice visit and she gave me a card thanking me for all I bring to her company and a gift card. That was a nice surprise.

That's a nice gesture.
When my dad had worked for BP for 40 years, they gave him a Seiko 18ct gold watch, engraved. He was chuffed.
I worked for the Federal Public Service. At 25 years they gave me a polished wood, inscribed pencil case. The little plaque has rusted. When I retired I was given a generic certificate thanking me for my service to the community.
She's aware of my sewing binge this past year and a half...she said she was donating to my (becoming rather expensive) hobby. She said she wished she had a similar hobby.
She's a nice person and has owned her business for nearly 30 years. The longevity of some of her employees in a high turnover industry attest to how well she treats them.

More than seven.
Cats don't like the smell of oranges.
Maybe I'll start throwing oranges in our front planter. I can't eat oranges, and it'll keep the little bastards from shitting in my planters. Win-win! Do I have to peel them first?

Another item for the bucket list: befriend a mountaineer and give him (let's be realistic, I don't think that many female mountaineers will consent to this) a vial of my jissom before a recent trek to the summit of a major mountain and tell them to empty the contents at the summit. And then send me a picture of the results. Why? Because semen stains the mountaintops, semen stains the mountaintops.
