Culinary idea: taking a pepper mill, grinding up some bacon, and using the mill to grind it up even smaller.

I do the bookkeeping for a maid service. Sometimes the staff will send pictures in to the office to show why they took more time than was scheduled. There are some nasty people out there. Good grief, the messes people some live in.

A ridiculous argument a Conservative once gave to me was that Leftists were hypocrites because they blockaded Chick-fil-A but still buy gas from homophobic countries. This is a stupid argument as blockading Chick-fil-A was theoretically far more likely to get them to stop funding homophobic groups than trying to blockade a third-world theocracy. At best you would get virtue signal points but that is an empty prize and ultimately it wouldn't work. There is no hypocrisy though as hypocrisy requires that you act contrary to your beliefs we acknowledge that their treatment of Homosexuals is unethical it's simply the fact that blockading them is not a realistic method of dealing with it. Ideally, it would be nice if we didn't use fossil fuels at all and switched to another power source. Also even if I didn't buy gas directly just about every element of the economy does so there really is no way you could be "clean"  unless you became a hermit in the woods and that's just running away from the problem ultimately as that would not solve the issue. 


Then he hit with the objection it was hypocritical for Leftists to criticize capitalism while using things created by capitalism. This is also stupid as none of those things are the result of capitalism they are the result of workers and the product itself is neutral it's not itself ethical or unethical only methods are as such there is nothing hypocritical about using said products. But even if it could be argued it is unethical it can be argued all consumption under capitalism is unethical and again short of becoming a hermit in the woods there is no way you could be "clean" as if that's any great prize. I take to the idea there is nothing wrong with doing your best within the current system while wanting to replace that system. That's not hypocritical.


His last dozy was to claim leftists were hypocritical for leftists to object to the Confederate flag while buying products from China that uses essentially slave labor this misses the fact the outrage over the Confederate flag was not about slavery it was about white supremacy and as for buying things from China yeah leftists never criticize China's Capitalist exploitation ever as for buying from China it really follows the same pattern as above. You can try and remain "clean" but that really doesn't change anything it's really just a virtue signal. The solution is either to reform China or end Capitalism that really the only solution that will have any real meaning.

I once heard someone say that it doesn't matter what your beliefs are or your political side only your actions matter and whether you're a hypocrite. This is stupid 

It doesn't matter how often you give blood and work in a soup kitchen if you are a member of the Baby Eating Genocide Black People Party you are still an evil bastard and you are not virtuous because you are a consistent evil bastard. So your actions aren't the end and are all about everything.
