Diabetes in a bottle!

She has mentioned being diabetic. Maybe she's the type who needs sugar.

I don't drink coffee but husband does.  I don't even know how to make it.  A couple weeks ago I woke up when he did at zero dark thirty and was in the kitchen with him while he made coffee.  Out of the corner of my eye I thought he was putting a LOT of coffee grounds in the pot, but what do I know.  Then the basket ran over with water.  He thought maybe the coffee pot was broken.  He took a sip of the coffee and choked a bit.  Apparently he had put in enough coffee grounds to make it 'remove the enamel from your teeth' strong.

Has the hubby ever tried cold brewing coffee? I tried it after hearing it described in a novel and I will never willingly hot brew coffee again. Cold brewing brings out all the flavors and aromas, but almost none of the acids and tannins making for much smoother, flavorful cup.

Put  2-3 oz. course ground coffee (more or less, to taste) into 48 oz. of water, and pop it in the fridge for 12-48 hours. the longer it sits, the stronger it gets (with diminishing returns after 48 hours). Filter out the grounds (the only reason I keep my drip coffee maker) and enjoy iced or nuked to preferred temperature.

It takes more advanced prep, but you can store cold brew in the fridge (and even freeze it) for much longer than hot brew. I typically brew a week's worth at a time and store it in the fridge in 16 oz. plastic bottles.

I make tea with a tea maker by Mr. Coffee.  I think I am on about the 6th one I have owned.  Not a fan of bottled teas and I don't like peach....blah.

I often add some lemonade to mine or a mango syrup.

Are there tea grounds that can go into a coffee maker? Or does it have to be a separate tea making machine?

I could make it in a coffee maker but have the proportions down with the tea maker.  I use four tea bags and I do add sugar to the pitcher.  Been using the same little measuring cup for many years (I think it came out of a jar of Tang).  Makes 2 quarts and I always have two pitchers in the fridge and three in hot weather.

The big bang was not the beginning. There was never a beginning.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
