Nope. My mom's side is from Guatemala, my dad's side is from Lithuania. I was raised Catholic because my mom and her family were always Catholic, and she was able to persuade my dad into becoming a Catholic.

I will admit, my life is pretty pathetic, but less so since I lost my emotions. That's my penance, I guess. I can't actually contribute anything worthwhile to humanity at large, so living a life of spiritual blandness is something I have to deal with.
