Pot is the only thing that keeps me from strangling him sometimes. I don't need it, he does. And I have made a few purchases figuring a charge for some weed was preferable to a murder sentence for me.

I called that the 'Ivory Tower' effect. I felt it the first time after school stopped and I entered the working world.
Quick google search tells me it also called Ivory Tower syndrome.

Banana bread is actually cake. So are muffins and cornbread. We just don't call them cake so we can rationalize eating cake outside of dessert.

I'm not so structured. One of the joys of adulthood is that I can eat cake whenever I want without the need to rationalize it.
