If I am not always right, which I accept to be true, then neither can anyone else. Therefore, the customer is not always right.

Also, strongly thinking of leaving this facility.

Husband said he likes the color I dyed my hair. I told him to enjoy it because next week I am adding another color.

I love the looks on their faces when I tell them that I'm a strong advocate for the customer not always being right.

So many customers are not right. When I worked as a mechanic, people would come with their diagnoses of the problem. I used their recommendations a few times, but soon discovered that they didn't know what they were talking about. Some of them, I just told them that if I'm wrong, that they didn't have to pay. That was a big incentive for them to trust my diagnosis.

According to the original quip, the customer is always right in matters of taste. This only means that is Mrs. Beaufort-Worthington-Toffeenose wants to buy an ugly hat, you smile, be polite, tell her it takes years off her face, and take her money. It was never intended for experts to kowtow to the uninformed demands of lay people.
