As I've said repeatedly, it's impossible for me to write unless that's my only focus. I get the feeling if I was born in a different time it'd have been easier to be practically homeless to enjoy the art of writing.

Perhaps.
But also I realize my muse is a rebel. It would mean leaving a job at a moment's notice for a month or so to finish a book and hope that the job was still waiting for me when I finished writing it. Highly unrealistic.

This is awful. My parents don't know I want to get with dudes and I need a boyfriend so fucking bad. Yes, it does matter to me what my parents think of my sexual orientation. I am not shameless about it. I could get with a girl, but what's the point? Some ugly or fat girl? Versus some sexy man?

Your parents don't have to know when knowing yourself is more important. Sure, tell them if the time ever becomes right. For now, however, be true to yourself. But also don't settle just because of a want. Finding your person is important and shouldn't be rushed.

It appears that The Bail's friends are cueing up for a quilt made by me. I made one for one of her roommates last year and another roommate showed up earlier today to pick up the one I made for her. That's how I found out there is yet another friend waiting in the wings. Not to mention the boyfriend...who I have informed needs to be in the inner circle for at least a year. I think that rolls around in February.
