I agree it shouldn't.  But it clearly bothers some people.

For anything and everything you ever do, you can find someone who is bothered by it, whether they should be or not, whether it affects them or not. I find this to be the greatest failure in humanity because it leads to so much unnecessary misery.

True enough. But I notice that with some things the people bothered with it find me. Gender, sexuality, relationships, appearance - those areas get me unsought after 'issues'.

But, humans are that way. I don't blame them, they can't help it. I even enjoy a small degree of winding people up and being contrarian and shocking. But it'd be nice if they kept their bad ideas to themselves more.
