Horizon 3, I have read, is likely due 2030/2031.

Possibly delayed for the launch of the PS6.

AI is now being used to recreate Adobe’s software, a developer has released seven free, open-source apps as clean-room alternatives to Adobe’s main tools:

- PhotoCraft → Photoshop
- VectorCraft → Illustrator
- FilmCraft → Premiere Pro
- LightCraft → Lightroom
- EffectCraft → After Effects
- DesignCraft → InDesign
- PDFCraft → Acrobat Pro

Built in Rust with help from Claude Opus 5.5, they run on Windows, Linux, and macOS under MIT/Apache licenses without using Adobe’s source code.

Look at it this way: If Adobe goes to court with these guys and wins, that sets the precedent that Intellectual Property is copyright protected from AI

So either Adobe gets destroyed by this knock off, or they go to court and destroy AI exploitation of other people's IP

And, they're already available in the repositories.

CADCraft (copy of AutoCAD) is also a thing. It's not the same as AutoCAD (yet) but it's much closer than any other FOSS option, and they're still developing version 0. Hopefully they get it much further along before AutoDesk starts howling like a bunch of starving coyotes.
