Ironically, Jesus Christ and Mother Mary may be more revered, per the Quran and the early Hadiths, in Islam, than even their prophet Mohammed, or Aisha is. I did not mean to put down Islam, but I rather commend it, if that's the case, because then more peaceable relations between Christians and Muslims are possible. Of course, today many Muslim countries persecute Christians, and that's not good. Though the Christian or Christian-majority nations are hardly perfect either, mostly because they allow weapons lobbyists etc to start endless Wars, which must all end.

But yeah, since Christians and Muslims will likely constitute 70% of the World's Population in the next 25-30 odd years, if not sooner, then peaceful relations between Christians and Muslims are of the greatest importance to World Peace. I pray for Peace. But let's see how Atheism does before then. It's unclear if there will ever be even 500 MN Strong As, let alone 3+ Billion, like there probably will be Cs and Ms by 2050.

I follow a secular form of Hinduism. What kind of bad-mouthing do you have for me and my beliefs?

Can I conclude from your line of reasoning that if Christianity was 4% of the population, you'd quit it in favor of something more popular?

Yes, the Muslims revere Issa. Why do you think that means a population victory for Muslims is a win for Christianity? Islam is still not Christianity.

Atheism is picking an odd way to die, we're about 4% self-described atheists in the USA now, but we were about half that a decade ago. According to Gallup polls, the percentage of American answering 'No' to the question 'Do you believe in God?' has risen from 1% in 1967 to 12% in 2017.

Doesn't look good for Jebus.

Actually, it looks very good for Jesus Christ, because Muslims believe (1) Jesus Christ is the True Messiah, (2) He worked wondrous Miracles in the Name of Allah/God (3) He was raised up to Heaven (4) He will return one day. Jesus and Mary are venerated as Great Saints/Prophets in Islam. So there are some similarities, even though they deny He is the Son of God.

But let's go with your Numbers: by around 2050, there will be 10 BN people. Based on what you said 32-33%, 3.2-3.3 BN will be Christian, another 3.2-3.3 BN Muslim. That's already 66% of the World and Atheism is nowhere to be seen. Another 15% odd will be Hindu, another 10%-15% odd in Buddhism, Confucianism, and related folk religions, although most of these are going extinct by the decade and probably will not make it until 2050, 25 yrs from now.

Whither, Atheism? It will probably be a 4% super-minority or less, and that's being generous. Oh, the Almighty has His Most Sweet Revenge on Atheism!

Ad populum reasoning is fallacious. The fact that billions of folk believe something doesn't mean the belief is true. See heliocentrism.

I've lived in both Iran and Saudi Arabia for a total of almost five years. Your statement here is not true. Also, while Muslims do hold Jesus to be holy, Muhammed is Allegedly Allah's last and most important prophet, as he brought Allah's "truth" to people on Earth.

I should think that JJ would want the numbers of Christians in the world to decrease. It’s largely due to the influence and actions of rationalists, atheists, and secularists that he’s able to practice his religion.

It’s hard to imagine a bigger threat to Christianity than Christians.

What "revenge"? Even if the entire population believes in your god, they can still all be wrong. Superior numbers do not make something true. If your god doesn't exist, it doesn't exist.

Just another one that's feeling threatened by the ongoing demise of christian domination and privilege.

Rather than address the problematic issues within the christian organized religion, JJ's best effort is to join an atheist forum and post dribble.

Do you know what being the best 4% means?    It means there are, and will always be, 24 times as many people who are not as good.

4% is a fringe minority. It's like having 50 Senators vote on a proposition, yet only 2 take your side, while about 35 believe in the Abrahamic God. Can't you see you're in a fringe minority, part of like how I guess Flat Earthers would be in a Fringe Minority. You're in a Fringe Minority because you are incorrect on this subject. The more you reflect carefully, the quicker you will see it if you are open to the Truth. The arguments and all the philosophical, scientific, moral, archeological, historical and logical proofs are out there, if you're willing to do the research. But we'll see who wins.
