Hardly a checkmate, but you are going to be tortured for all eternity, reincarnation is a real thing and the universe is infinite and eternal, someday you will experience sentience again when this current body passes away, to be sent back into a endless cycle of birth, living, and death. You are all actually wishful thinkers in the belief that 'you only live once' the universe in this regard is a cruel mechanism. I've never heard of a more archaic view of religion, but this is to be expected as your growth in spirituality is stunted.

I hate the Biblical god about as much as I hate Sauron.
The god described in the Bible, could be the most evil villains in all of fiction.
Even if we ignore all the slaughter he orders (entire towns, babies, women, even animals), ignore his condoning of slavery, ignore his mass murder of the flood, we still have the invention of infinite torture for finite thought crimes.
The worst possible universe I could imagine, is one where the biblical god actually existed.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
