Caught Project Hail Mary last week. Liked it. Nothing took me out of the experience, though I can find science to nit pick. Haven't read the book, which may have helped.

BIG BANG THEORY Stuart Spin-Off Gets a July HBO Max Release
Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, the upcoming spin-off of The Big Bang Theory, will hit HBO Max this July. The series will deal with Stuart attempting to restore reality after he breaks a device built by Sheldon and Leonard, accidentally bringing about a multiversal Armageddon. Stuart’s girlfriend Denise (Lauren Lapkus) helps Stuart out during this cosmic adventure, along with his geologist friend Bert (Brian Posehn), and quantum physicist Barry Kripke (John Ross Bowie). In the upcoming series, the cast will meet alternate-universe versions of characters we’ve come to know from The Big Bang Theory. Although who exactly is still under wraps. And we can imagine, much wackiness shall ensue. https://nerdist.com/article/big-bang-the...ease-date/
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
Joe Locke has fuelled online speculation that he is involved in a sci-fi body-horror film titled Baby after a cryptic Instagram Stories post, with fans linking the chatter to the “mpreg” trope.

RUMOR: Disney to Remove Star Wars Sequel Trilogy From Timeline to Resume Focus on Original Characters
The future of Star Wars may be heading toward a massive course correction—and if a new insider report is accurate, Disney could be preparing to split the controversial Star Wars Sequel Trilogy off into its own isolated timeline and remove it from the mainline Star Wars storyline. According to an exclusive report from That Park Place’s WDW Pro, a source close to Lucasfilm claims internal discussions are underway to “branch off” the Star Wars sequel trilogy to effectively remove it from the primary continuity and allow future storytelling to pivot back toward legacy characters from the original films. If true, this would be one of the most dramatic franchise shifts in modern Hollywood history. https://geeksandgamers.com/remove-star-w...l-trilogy/ If true, the whole movie will be played by AI actors since the original cast are too old or dead.

Michael Bay is developing a movie about the U.S./Iran war.
The film follows the story of the 2 U.S. pilots rescued after their planes were shot down during Operation Epic Fury in Iran. https://deadline.com/2026/05/michael-bay...236917066/ Do you think Bay will include the bit where Trump blew up a school full of girls?

I suppose Trump's going to be played by Jason Momoa (he seems to be in everything these days). Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???" |
