My own Enigma Machine. The NSA has one on display behind glass (at least they did 40 years ago), but they wouldn't let me play with it.

Fun fact: over a decade ago, I actually covered a Scottish father and son who actually built one for £150 over two weeks out of an old Skoda.
Amazingly, it’s fully insured, and has passed its Ministry of Transport test, meaning it’s actually 100% street legal for the UK.
Wait!
A Scotsman spent THAT much??

A guy goes to Scotland on a vacation, and whips out his wallet to pay for some trinket. The sound of the Velcro closure opening prompts this comment from the proprietor, "Aye, that's a real Scot's wallet! It screams when ye open it!"
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

What's also interesting is that Mick Jagger has one of those machines.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
