My thoughts and prayers are going to the ex-president, his loving wife and family. But this is not the right time now to discuss arms legislation. Its important for everyone in the US to have the right to bear an AR15, and god forbid another lunatic is going to try and make history by trying yet another assassination attempt.

I really hope your former president gets better soon. The first comments of Joe Biden were also very accurate. This polarization / division of society into different camps has to stop (Just to mention it shortly, this is an attribute of tyrant-like rulers that is mentioned in the Muslim Holy Book).
Besides: This reminds me of the assassination of the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe almost the same date in 2022 (It’s been two years and no one seems to know who did it). So my gut feeling is gun-control (as it has been mentioned my Deesse23). If the guy is just 20 years old there is a chance that he might be just another luni. Don’t you agree?
