What tickles me, as an outsider to this, is that his being an old white guy was very much intentional.  Fuckin required..apparently, in order to draw away some of those persuadable trump voters.

I don't know about intentional but it can't be denied that it gives him somewhat of an advantage. Biden is a man and is of Hitler's race so the far right doesn't hate him quite as much as they do people like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. I do believe it's why he managed to achieve some bi-party results which would have been impossible for a woman or for a man who's skin was a different color than Hitler's.

If the USSR had had a Red Communist party and a Blue Communist party, the communists would still be in power. Because whenever things went wrong one team could just point to the other team, and they'd switch every few years, and nothing would change.

With a Blue Military Industrial Complex party and a Red Military Industrial Complex party, the US can only switch back and forth every few years.

If we point to Biden's obvious cognitive decline, his dishonesty, his corruption, and his warmongering, his supporters just point and say "But Trump!!!" When what we really need from the Democrats is that they give us someone who isn't in cognitive decline, isn't dishonest, isn't corrupt, and isn't a warmonger. In other words, someone who would be popular for his own sake, and not only in contrast to someone only slightly more horrible.

So you want Democrats to replace Biden, but you already determined that all American politicians are evil, so you'll again have hate and disdain for whoever they replace Biden with. So what exactly is the point of your post except for you to suck your own dick?

Following the debate numerous high-ranking Democrats and big name pundits expressed surprise and alarm over Joe Biden's mental acuity. Republicans have been pointing this out for ages. His blunders have been evident. How could they be surprised? Those closest to Biden have been telling us how sharp he is. It seems evident that there has been a conspiracy in the government and in the news to cover up Biden's condition and fool the American public. Overnight more than half of the democratic party is asking him to step down after attesting to his dynamic performance just a week ago. Who has been running things? This is a crime of high order against the American people.

Ok. I'll change that to a significant number of high-ranking Democrats.  Since it seems to have a bearing on everything I say here, I'll tell you about my political feelings for Donald Trump. About one week before the 2016 election, I changed my registration from
Republican to independent because I was upset at the party for nominating Trump. In the Republican primary election this year, I voted for Nikki Haley. I don't particularly care for Donald Trump. I'm trying not to go by my emotions but to make an objective decision based on the facts. My premise for this thread is based on facts.

Which 'high-ranking Democrats'? How are you defining 'high-ranking'? What, in your view, constitutes 'a significant number'?

If you wanted to vote for Haley in the primary, why didn't you change your party affiliation?

He's a lifelong gaffe machine who has both old balls and a stutter.  If they're trying to hide that...and I'm sure they would if they could..they're not doing a very good job.  None of this was discovered this month, this year, or even this decade.  

There's a bit more to it than that. When I listened to the post-NATO press conference, I was hearing unfinished thoughts, and wandering points.

Almost like an 80 year old man was airing out his thoughts or something. I honestly don't understand what people expected. If you decide you have to run old white guys to defeat the other old white guys you're going to end up with old white guys no matter who wins. I think you should be counting your lucky stars that he didn't get up there and start babbling about his black buddies cornpop and poonhound. He's been saying weird (and weirder) shit since he was a lucid young(er) man.

To add...because I think this drives the inevitability of this moment home..plenty of people figured his age wouldn't be too big of a deal because he suggested he would be a one term bridge president when he was angling for the gig. Now, there was alot of effort spent at trying to memory hole that...but he blew that apart in that conference when he told us that what had changed between then and now, in his mind, was the severity or urgency of the situation he inherited.

The harm wasn't created by trying to manage their candidates image - it was in centering the white supremacists existential anxieties in his campaign in the first place.

Just one more example in a long history of the democratic party internalizing their message, and it always blows up in your faces. Always. That's why they insist on you doing it.....if threatening to sue should anyone other than biden come out the nominee doesn't make that crystal clear.
