Your knees

Your knees
Are you the type of person whose knees hurt more when you're standing for an extended period of time or when you try to stand up after having sat down for a long time?

Neither. I usually sit curled up with my legs folded up under me. I don't have the strength I used to but am very limber for my age. There have been people who have teased me about sitting like a teenager...whatever that means...I just figure that until/if I can't anymore, I will continue.

I have enough other health issues, aches and pains. My knees aren't one of them.

The bum one, only when walking. Then every time when kneeling, especially on concrete.

This is my experience + an arthritic hip and don't even get me started about the ankle.

You left out "both"... and "A long time" is a very short interval, around here.  Dodgy  Arthritis is a real bitch.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

This is me, also.

My legs are the last thing to give me any pain.

My knees are fine, thankfully. Right knee would get a little sloppy when younger and running, but very rare and random. Probably simply a misplaced step, sharp pain that passed before too long.

It's my hip that occupies my attention, followed in close-second by my lower back. Constant pain with no relief, you just learn to live with it.

Everything else is shipshape.

RE: Your knees
Both of my knees are fucked up. I've had surgery on my left 4 times, including a partial replacement in '18, and it's still a problem. My right knee has been operated on once, in '11, but it's so swollen and full of fluid now that my doctor has had to drain it 3 times since April.
I'm having physical therapy for 6 weeks before my orthopedist will possibly do a total knee replacement. In the mean time, it's incredibly painful, I can hardly bend it.
Constant chronic pain sucks. It's one of the reasons I had to retire 9 years ago and go on disability.

Knees are better since I stopped running on a regular basis. Main source of pain is my lower back - I can't maintain the same position for more than about 20 minutes without the pain becoming excruciating.

Mine get sore after a long commute. Clutch leg gets a workout in traffic.
