Pretty easy to understand in their case. Harder when a contemporary person shows up and says they didn’t believe until god granted them three wishes.
We’re all left to wonder why there’s still any homelessness or hunger or war left in the world. Did we ask the booming voice for a cheeseburger, large fries, and a coke….?

#3 seems particularly apt. When you admit to being ‘not well versed in science’ in almost the same breath as to declare physics, chemistry, and biology ‘mumbo jumbo’, that’s a VERY specialized ignorance.
