If you're going to dismiss the biblical record, demonstrate where it fails historically.
This one actually sounds like fun, maybe limit it to 3 or 4 per post for brevity, anyway here goes:
1) Joshua 10:12-14
"The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day"
2) The Exodus and Conquest: Archaeological and genetic research show no evidence of a large Hebrew population in ancient Egypt, a mass exodus, or a 40-year desert wandering. Similarly, the destruction of cities like Ai by Joshua contradicts archaeological timelines, as the city was abandoned centuries earlier.
3) Camels and the Patriarchs: Stories of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob frequently mention them using domesticated camels. However, camels were not domesticated in the Southern Levant until around 930 BCE—roughly a thousand years after the era of the biblical patriarchs.
4) The Birth of Jesus and the Census: Matthew places Jesus's birth during the reign of Herod the Great (who died in 4 BCE), while Luke links it to the Census of Quirinius, which took place in 6 CE—a gap of roughly ten years.
You did ask...
