I heard him saying he wanted us to narrow it down to just one before he'd try to disprove them.
Yeah, but my point remains valid, even on the sixth page...
*EDIT* Oh, now we move on to 7. Should be sometime soon, i hope.
Yes, and it seems to me that this sort of thing is like one thread in the Gauntlet wherein the guy asked the forumers to prove that 9/11 wasn't a conspiracy by the government, and then he asked people to summarise the information on the website provided without bothering to narrow down what he wanted to disprove.
That said, that guy didn't last long here, but Frodo's been here for longer than I have been.

Usually the apologists claim that his body hung there for several days and got bloated, then somehow the rope broke and his body fell down, and being bloated burst open.
Although, from working in law enforcement, usually when someone hangs themselves and aren't found for a few days, the rope will stretch rather than break.
But again, it's amazing all the mental hoops they make themselves jump through in order to keep believing.

First of all Frodo, “never to be defeated” is very likely your own religious delusion, but more importantly, your challenge says that the ONE contradiction I choose can always be shown to be, quote, “nothing of the sort.” I take that to mean that you will not only prove that the contradictions are invalid but that you will also leave no doubt in our minds … being nothing of the sort and all.
ONLY 5 of the Hundreds of Bible Contradictions (quoted from both KJV and NIV)
1. Killing commanded
Ex 32:27 And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, [and] go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour. Killing forbidden
Ex 20:13 Thou shalt not kill
2. God is tired and rests
Ex 31:17 It will be a sign between me and the Israelites forever, for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed God is never tired and never rests
Is 40:28 28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.
3. God is the author of evil
Lam 3:38 Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that both calamities and good things come? Is 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. God is not the author of evil
James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
4. God is to be found by those who seek him
Matt 7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. God is not to be found by those who seek him
Prov 1:28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
5. Robbery commanded
Ex 3:21,22Every woman is to ask her neighbor and any woman living in her house for articles of silver and gold and for clothing, which you will put on your sons and daughters. And so you will plunder the Egyptians.” Also Ex 12:35,36 Robbery forbidden
Lev 19:13 Do not defraud or rob your neighbor Ex 20:15 Thou Shalt not Steal.
(Get ready to hear the word CONTEXT a lot. The #1 most often used defense of flagrant biblical contradictions.)
OK, here we go, you read the Bible and decide what it says to fit your small understanding of scripture. Yes, you have taken these scriptures out of context by not using all the valid scriptures that go with them. Let's get something straight about your supposed contradiction, it's not flagrant, it's not even a contradiction, as a matter of fact these two verses are not related. This is what happens when you go online to find such ridiculous statements, you should read and study scripture for yourself, don't let others make you look dumb at least do it for yourself. Now with this said let's get to the scriptures.
Is.40:28 this verse is clear in what it states and needs no supporting verses, it states that God never gets tired or weary (as from labor), this fits with an omnipotent God, agree.
Ex.31:17 if you had actually read this verse you would have seen that you should have read the previous verses to obtain a clearer understanding, but your desire was for a contradiction instead of truth, as I stated above you need to study scripture. You should have started a verse 12 and read through verse 17 and you might have seen that these verses are about a sabbath day. God gave this day to His people to have a time of fellowship (worship) with God and a time of fellowship with each other (to be refreshed). The word rest in these verses does not literally mean to rest from labor (because one is tired), it means to cease from all unnessasary worldly activities. These verses mean that we are to cease (rest) from our worldly activities and fellowship with God (worship) and fellowship with each other (be refreshed). God gave this commandment because He knew (omniscient) how important it would be for His people to observe a sabbaths day of rest and refreshing.
This verse says nothing about God being tired, what it truly says is that God ceased His creation work and had fellowship with His created beings (angels, man and ect.), the same as explained above. So, you see, if you had done your homework you might have seen that these two verses were not related. Keep out of the sandbox that Min plays in and you will be better off.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Well that's not even starting to pose a challenge and can be easily dismissed by explaining exactly the 1st verse quoted.
The 7th day is the culmination of the ordering of the cosmos that sees God taking his place at it's centre. He isn't resting as in putting his feet up and doing nothing, but taking up his place as air traffic controller, with everything now set up and ready to roll. God never rests but sits on his throne orchestrating this reality.
This is a strict exegesis of the text, which we must not just take at face value, or from third person translations, but from the context of the civilization to which it was revealed.
Yes, the tale is in support of the sabbath but the multiple translations above indicate that your god was beat, bushed, pooped, fagged, wasted and stressed out! The fucker needed a day to get his act together and this was used as a justification for the Jews to do the same on their fucking sabbath.
Then compare the multiple translations of Isaiah 40:28

And the claim is made that your sky-daddy never gets weary.
This is what is known as a CONTRADICTION. Either the fucker flopped around in a hammock with his tongue hanging out or he didn't. Both cannot be true.
(Of course...both can be false which seems like the most obvious answer to me.)
You would not know a contradiction if it hit you in the face, I know this because your a contradiction to humanity, just go back to your sandbox and stay out of serious discussion.

blah blah blah blah air traffic controller blah blah blah third person translations, blah blah
Did you actually keep a straight face when you wrote that mess ??? LMAO
"god didn't rest - it says he rested, but really he fired up his PC and got ready to organize the world"LMAO
So lets get this clear. Your argument is that we should all just ignore the definitions of the words rested and tired and that of course will make it obvious that there is no contradiction here.
Lets play cards some time. "No, I totally won that hand! You see a 7-deuce off suit, but they're actually two Kings ... I win"
