Are these surprises on the level of winning the council vote as the Darlok or facing a runaway Psilon empire that DOES NOT LIKE YOUR ONE PLANET MRRSHAN EMPIRE.?
Because I feel pretty awesome now. I've been playing MoO so much now that I have expanded from my Silicoid-only play to the Meklar (FUN!) and now even to the Darlok ^_^ Winning with 4 planets by a council vote when I was at war with the entire galaxy not five turns before is awesome XD Not quite as epic as working my way from between 2 giants as the Silicoid and taking over the galaxy after hitting the tech wall... but pretty damn awesome nonetheless
And I almost think the Meklar are overpowered. 1700 factories in one turn after taking a colony over and turning it into a Gaia+complete terraforming environment? That's hideous. Disturbing. Disgusting. So unbelievably awesome ^_^
Might try my hand at Sakkra eventually or Bulrathi... but I'm going to play Darlok until I can claim as full an understanding of the race as I do the Silicoid and Meklar ^_^
