I upgraded recently to Firefox 4. I also have the Google toolbar installed. Not sure if it's relevant, but anyway. I go to Google's home page or use the tool bar and type in a search query, like "Hello Kitty" for example. Then I decide to search for "Hello dog" next. But when I hit enter (or click the search button) it takes me back to the "Hello Kitty" search results. I have to close the browser (or window), and start a new search all over again . In IE, I have no problems. Ideas?

Odd, I'm not seeing that. Maybe something is redirecting your searches? I don't see why the Google Toolbar would give you different results than Google.com though.

Update to my OP:

Apparently my cursor problem is not that uncommon when you upload a new windows operating system. XP, Vista and '7'

Once I spent some time getting every single update available for Windows 7, the problem was corrected.

just an FYI. Thanx, I do indeed like Firefox.

You should try Chromium instead of Chrome. It doesn't send info back to the Google mothership.
