Where do emotions such as Love from

So you are saying that Animals and all other Life do not have this emotion of Love? Would a kitten "play" without feeling happy which is an expression of love? Petal don't open to receive the comfort of sunlight or rather open up for insects only when it is sunny? What motivation would anything have to live by without this feeling of Love? It exists and reproduce, that's it.

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity. Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist. You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them. So you don't find it in the least bit strange that these chemicals even exist? Isn't it weird that these assisting chemicals mimic unreasonable behavior perfectly? Would you call the love for your child a mere chemical reaction? Here is a chemical reaction: Migrating elephants combing the land for water and food. The baby elephant collapses of exhaustion and the mother is devastated. The mother is in tears and stays behind with her baby to die with him. Here is another example of mere chemicals: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=He7Ge7Sogrk So life is nothing more than a chemical which mimics care for another which in turn celebrates life? Hmm. Chemical reactions that celebrates life with care but is false by it not being real love. Do you need eyes to see or do they assist you? RE: Where do emotions such as Love from

If we didn't function on chemicals, then we wouldn't be affected by drugs. Quote:Would you call the love for your child a mere chemical reaction?Pretty much. Without chemical reactions, I'd feel nothing. Quote:Chemical reactions that celebrates life with care but is false by it not being real love. No, love is real, it's just chemical based. Why do you have such a problem with that? You desire to be special or something? You're just a collection of chemicals and atoms. Get over it. If there were no chemical reactions, you'd be dead.

Read my first post on this thread, and the mystery of animal love will be clarified for you. It isn't exactly play, when it comes to the kitten. It is honing skills that are absolutely vital for their survival later in their life. Flowers are merely the reproductive organ of plants, it would be just as comforting for a man to expose his cock to the sun as it is for flowers to do so. These chemicals do not mimic the feeling, they are the reason we feel. And yes, I call the love for a child chemical, but it doesn't make the feeling any less real. Again, read my first post and hopefully you'll be a bit enlighted. And by the way, elephants do try and get their dying to walk with them, and almost all mothers grieve dead offspring, but they do not stay behind and die with their young.. When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? We wouldn't function without them. We are just chemicals and atoms mate. Nothing more. Now we might be getting somewhere here. There are 2 polarities in life that are obvious which are Love and Fear based polarities. It exists in all life even in that which one would say isn't alive like a rock. These chemical reactions we have assist us in life to feel these polarities. Close your eyes and hug someone you love and you will feel this energy. Feel that person you love from a distance because it is an energy. Of these chemical reactions, do you doubt ever feeling it without a thought? Feeling it exactly from a person with a meaningful event from a distance? Would a mere chemical reaction connect this accurately or enhance it? Seems like Love is nothing more than an illusion somehow being mimicked by chemicals and atoms with no meaning which makes no sense. Here is an nice illusion: Yes we are a collection of chemicals and atoms which is all energy which is mostly empty space. Just about 99% empty space and the rest is energy spaced out. Are we an illusion (including chemicals and atoms) as some think Love is also? Im not really here to debate (im sorry if it seems that way) but just want to seek/share the truth. Quote:Oh dear, you are a silly one! Animal love or copulation isn't a mystery, it is what ever it is. I simply use a kitten as an example to show they also have love emotions. A little girl swinging on a swings set with a big happy smile is an expression and event of Love. Nice example there about flowers and a cock in the sun. Is this planet Earth? So ill assume you never heard of a mother staying with her young to die for the love she has for him/her. Maybe not in the Animal kingdom but maybe Humans ill assume you have. By the way, the story of the mother elephant dying with her young was a true documented event. |
