We've got decency laws to deal with that kind of perversity, don't we?

In theory maybe, but who's gonna judge the judge?
HuhA man is born to a virgin mother, lives, dies, comes alive again and then disappears into the clouds to become his Dad. How likely is that?

Or does God also have a fanny and kazonkers?

Or, if He didn't create Eve and Lilith in His own image, doesn't it follow that women then really only are second class humans, from His point of view? Borne out by the subordinate and subservient role(s) women play throughout the bible...

In order to answer the question one has to assume that the Bible is more than a collection of fairy tales written by men who equated women to nothing more than the value of their livestock. The Bible is just like most every other ancient religious book - overtly patriarchal. The history of religion teaches us that women are all fine and good as long as they keep their mouths shut, put out when commanded, and don't express any kind of personal interest in anything besides the holy book in question. To this day, women are kept down at a man's boot heal in strict religious communities (Islam comes to mind) based solely on the writings of primitive goat herders.

It's disgusting. In fact it may be a good thread topic ... Does religion create, placate, and/or endorse male insecurity? Sexuality seems to play a HUGE role in religion.

That's easy: his peers, in a carefully adhered to systemic pattern. In full public view. Exactly like the current court systems do with 'challenges' and reviews.
Including a proper appeal system.
This public justice has proven viable for a couple of centuries by now. No earthshaking brandnew and uncharted developments there.
It just needs to be applied! "Religiously"!

I was sitting opposite a beautiful Thai girl on the bus the other day.

I kept thinking to myself "Don't get an erection, don't get an erection"

But she did........

I"m sure Tali has some nice assets under that suit but right now I'm trying to get into Kelly's pants. At least I can be fairly certain what's under the hood there.
