I do know that the current younger generation is the least religious of any that's gone before, but I would be surprised if the country was 50/50 atheist to theist in 20 years. In the past 20 years the percentage of atheists in this country has only gone from some 10% to maybe around 15-20% today. The word "atheist" is still a dirty word in American society, so there may be a lot of closeted atheists out there who are afraid to be open about it, so the number could possibly be higher.
I am heartened by the fact that actual church-going Christians are such a low percentage of the total population, but I don't think we'll see Christians being a minority in our lifetimes. Sorry, but claims of clairvoyance aren't going to convince me otherwise. I'm as skeptical of ESP and clairvoyance as I am of religious beliefs.

When dose the Mulim say when the world will End?
About 6 End of the World dates were set by Christian during my life time.

That's good you expect it, cause that happens a lot with delusional people. **Issuing Castle another PID** {Perceived Intelligence Downgrade}
How much brain power does it take to instantly throw a non religious spiritual sided person in with all the credibility of bible-toting, stone-throwing, blood-shedding fundies.
Limited thinkers can spread a lot of delusional waste and low energy as much as any extreme bible thumper too.
I've met others claiming to have this "gift" as well.
It's utter nonsense. It's just insignificant people making things up in their head to make them feel special, and part of an elite group. It's the same thing as religion with an even stupider premise (if that's possible) ... "Hey everybody, I have super powers that I've tapped into."
Even for the miniscule percentage of you people that manage to come up with some circumstantial evidence that it might be real - it's a useless ability. Why? Because you can't prevent ANYTHING. You can't help anybody. You can't offer up solid information. And if you're wrong about a prediction all you have to do is wait a month and find something that fits into your little vision. Which is really really easy to do. Nostradamus was just a silly old man who wrote a LOT of stupid shit down. Hell, I'll go so far as to say that if someone can predict a catastrophic event with the correct date and time BEFORE the event actually occurs using Nostradamus' quatrains, I'll be more than happy to stand up and tell the world how wrong I was and how amazing people like you are.
Until that day happens, you're just another guy who wants to be special.

Clairvoyance are highly controversial to many atheist, the existence of the paranormal is generally not accepted by the scientific community. Yet regardless I prefer to lead with my heart shortly followed by my mind. Often lead with imagination shortly follow by my skepticism
I am here to learn much like yourself, I don’t need your approval for my already healthy mind and body and I am what I am.
Am I not so special or here to impress you? I am not claiming to be very intelligent or very spiritual, that’s more a religious thing. I’m no better of worst than the next guy, some things the next guy dose better than me and vise versa. Got many up sides and a list of downsides, like my English for example it lacks practicing mainly.
A person who is a clairvoyant is considered one if he can make 80% of your prediction correctly or more. I have strong intuitive abilities partly because being profession artist for 36 year and accomplished 85 % of my dreams on my dream list over the past 30 years. Been world class in two sports and world class in four area of the arts

"I’m a Clairvoyant except I have to wait for it to come to me."
What do you mean by this, do you hear spirits? or does this info just enter you?
I’m a Clairvoyant Person without any super natural powers, that’s mainly a religious wise tale. I can’t imagine God given the Christians a plan with their road record. Also when claiming to know God or the spirit world and the higher energy tends to become more elusive and evasive to that claim.
How it works for me is I cast out to the Universe a question, if it is a silly or weak answer back, it’s because it’s was a weak question to begin with. Then I cast out a better question, it oddly give me a better answer than I could have imagined.
Nobody has been to the spirit world and come back. Yet with general world consensus about 90% of people sense a higher energy or some answer to a high energy source of good intention.
I’m very curiosity and conscious of my senses in both states at the same time. I do not understand a lot about clairvoyant or the paranormal and psychic abilities. All I do know is that it works for me and helps other people. I do know when people are going to die and I learned how to block it too . There are many shamanic figures, offices and practices throughout history. Jesus was said to be Shaman, I think he was an amateur shaman because he did not write things down himself, Look at it today, it caused many wrong translations

Religion will dramatically shrink within 20 years.
20 years? I doubt that. Perhaps in another few hundreds years.
I agree with you that religion is indeed shrinking, but at a slow rate. As Carl Sagan says; extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, clairvoyance is not a proper type of evidence.
Here:
Maybe, I should have not brought up, I’m clairvoyance. Now many of the atheists will over focus on that, rather than the many sound enough reasons I given on this thread, Many have not doubted much on the 8 reasons first given.
Religion will probably not diminish in the United States. This country is the most religious first world country in the world.
Republicans keep on trying to get prayer in school and other delusional rubbish to be passed through the Senate via assorted "freedom of religion bills", Congressmen still believe that the Second Coming is a reason to destroy the environment and to the theoretical hell with the consequences, studies show that 60+ percent of Americans said they would not vote for an atheist, and, to top it off, Ann Coulter and Bill O'Reilly and all the other extreme right fanatics
are preaching hate against anyone that dares to disagree with or do something contradictory to the views of them and their target audience.

I think the correct word is overstatement.
Quote:"I think it's perfectly possible to explain how the universe came about without bringing God into it, but I don't know everything, and there may well be a God somewhere, hiding away. Actually, if he is keeping out of sight, it's because he's ashamed of his followers and all the cruelty and ignorance they're responsible for promoting in his name. If I were him, I'd want nothing to do with them."
