Isn’t atheism really just an excuse to continue in unrepented sin?

Simply do what God requires, confess your sins to God, truly sorry from your heart and simply ask His forgiveness. He will, completely, even if you’ve been atheist or homosexual. Then turn from your sins and turn *to* God proving your repentance is real. Trust that Jesus’ death on the cross took the punishment your sins deserved. All who do will receive eternal life and be empowered by the Holy Spirit to do what He commands. Why do you delay?

So let me get this straight:-

Some dude made us in his own image.
He fucked a virgin but left her a virgin
The result of the union was himself.

30 odd years later he sacrificed himself to himself.
3 days after that he made himself alive again.
And floated up into the sky.

And we have to believe in him or we get locked in the basement for ever, and in fire.

Can’t see anything remotely absurd in that. Worship (large) ROFLOL

1: God is one of all.

Quote:Sin separates us from God.

This refutes your first statement.

Quote:Denial doesn’t change the reality.

Irrelevant, and you are not Master of Reality here. I am Master of Orion. And 324 Zeon missile bases and a Class XX planetary shield with Class XV deflector shields and a Meklar-Silicoid death fleet prove this.

Care to have a go? I'm afraid you'll have to wait until the Bulrat- Fire.

Never mind, we're open. Do stop by. With your best ships please. To do anything less might insult us to the point of annihilating your homeworld.

As if the Silicoid cared and the Meklar weren't too busy with themselves.

Quote:Simply do what God requires, confess your sins to God, truly sorry from your heart and simply ask His forgiveness.

My heart can feel sorry now? Fascinating. Still won't get my pieces into home or kick that other guy back to start.

Quote:He will, completely, even if you’ve been atheist or homosexual.

Even? Darling... if I were anything less than the Galactic Empress (And a Silicoid at that!): I would have you slain by a miniature Mauler Device. However... I find this drivel far too entertaining in my position. From here I get the best view of the torture chambers.

And you insulted quite a few people here. Heart

Quote:Then turn from your sins and turn *to* God proving your repentance is real.

Repentance for? Heart I am guiltless. Some regret here and there, but I hardly need to apologize for learning. Only seven quintillion sentient beings have been ruthlessly exterminated as a result. That's barely 0.0000002% of only this quadrant's population. What's to repent? Heart

Quote:Trust that Jesus’ death on the cross took the punishment your sins deserved.

Believe that someone else being tortured for nothing is just? How sick you must be. If I cared about you, I'd tell you to lie down. In a padded cell. But I don't. So please do go on ahead with the nonsense. At this rate I'll not even need to pay cable Heart

Quote:All who do will receive eternal life and be empowered by the Holy Spirit to do what He commands. Why do you delay?

With that reward awaiting: why wouldn't you take off running in the opposite direction?

I'd rather take five umbetiitrace (5 quintillion quintillion billion quintillion quadrillion trillion hundred thousand sixty two) of your years in a Klackon torture cell.

We are positively charitable in comparison.

Charkie,
Pray that Chutulhu eats you first.
Denial doesn't change the fact that he will awaken and devour you at some point anyways.
Simply join the cult of Chutulhu and he just might eat you first.
Why do you delay?
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

If sin is what's separating me from your god, I had better rape and pillage some more, just to be sure.

Fucking loony.

Isn't Christianity just an excuse not to pray five times a day facing Mecca? Or to eat whatever you want during Ramadan?

OK, seriously, preaching is frowned upon in this forum.

Instead of copying and pasting apologist videos expressing arguments that we've all heard before or trying to lecture us on the real reason why most of us don't believe ("most" because we have regular Christian and Muslim posters, one of which is a moderator), why not ask why we don't believe without presupposition? I seem to remember some part of your scripture that advises "seek first to understand, then to be understood".

Well when you put it like that.....

.... you can fuck off!

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down happy. They told me I didn't understand the assignment. I told them they didn't understand life.

Because we've heard this before and it doesn't get any more believable the 9000th time?
