And they cut Pell Grants for the summer, meaning no summer school for me (guess I have to be a more expensive load on the tax payers instead of getting my degree done in faster time)... I hears ya. And I am a college student attending school on her own funds. With her own job. Who does squat diddly for money for 9 months at least out of a year. Do a good job, and you can live the rest of your life by the side of a rich girl. Never worrying about not having enough. Sometimes worrying about having too much. I might.

Certainly I couldn't be constantly paying you, and a share simply won't cut it for poor people. Or maybe I can... hmmm. All sorts of interesting ideas to think about. No monitor included. A cheaper hard drive or processor could be used or a better video card if budget allows/requires. If something can be salvaged from old computer it would help. Just wishing, of course. Nope. Look at the back of a computer. Note the number of slots available. My setup may be a bit more complex than most, but I have a large number of peripherals, including two monitors. I have my box built out of two cases. They separate in the middle for access and cleaning. One case has sixteen USB ports available in the back and both have bays for three hard drives. I put a "pull through" cooling system to keep the whole thing cool, and the dual mother boards both carry quad-core processors. 64-bit buses to connect every thing. Bit pricey, but I wasn't paying for it.
1. What is your budget?
2. Where do you live? 3. What do you already have (e.g. monitor, keyboard, speakers, operating system)? 4. Will you be putting the computer together yourself, having a friend assemble it or choosing the parts and then having a store assemble it?
