Because they want to live forever, which of course cannot happen. Pure wishful thinking. Fear of death is not unusual, since we are aware that our existence is limited. Wow, you guys aren't only paranoid that I am a xtian, you also think you have answered my question with your subjective, fundamentalist views. This forum is starting to feel like some sort of radical oppressive church. Here's what I think: Many of the posters on here are one step away from radical islam. With this intense closed mindedness, you are just the other end of the spectrum and therefore, no different.
