Hello to all!

Hello everyone! I have become fascinated with the conversations and debates on this forum and by joining I hope to contribute in anyway I can. A bit about me (if it isn't too bold of me to say): I grew up a Catholic and have always been interested with different cultures, beliefs and religions. Over time I have become fond of the religions of the East, especially Buddhism. However, after reading the works of Russell, Dawkins and Hitchens, I have found atheism and agnosticism to be absolutely fascinating. On a more personal note, I attend college in the great (and extraordinarily religious!) state of Oklahoma and I love the Flaming Lips. Other than that, not too much.
So while I may not exactly declare myself an atheist at the moment, neither do I claim to be a Christian. Hopefully, I can contribute to this forum.

Welcome! I'm new too and a long term atheist, I can't say that I find it fascinating though... Maybe the life of a new atheist is though? I find my lack of fantastical belief in a society rife with it to be a bit of a struggle to be honest.
