I think I changed my mind on this one. I assumed this cross was going to be some prominent figure, or a symbol of the memorial, but apparently it's just one among many pieces that will be in the monument museum. If that's the case then I can't see why anybody would complain.

Better question is to ask the people that wanted to take it down, not atheists as a whole because I really don't care about it. More important issues.
