What I love is One of These Days on Delicate Sound of Thunder. The intro is just so epic.

Indeed, I just pointed One of these days out.

My current favourites are Three Days Grace, Godsmack, Bullet For My Valentine &, yes, Linkin Park but I also like Atreyu, Trivium, Nightwish, Evanescence, KoRn & my one time favourite Lostprophets (1st album meh, second album awesome, third ... oh f*** [crash & burn]).

Nice. I've heard a little of Three Days Grace, they were pretty cool. Quick question - does there name have any religious meaning? Three Days Grace being Jesus dying then rising three days later. I don't think it is but would be interested if you know anything about it.
My friend recently got me into Trivium - love them! Been listening to Ascendancy the last few days. And Lost Prophets are a cool band. I'm with you on the albums. 2nd is great, 3rd I don't actually mind. A bit of a change though.

I honestly never thought about it ... odd considering my interests.

Yes Ascendancy is good and so is the 'Prophets 2nd album (all full of outrage and aggression) but they suddenly seemed to appeal to a much younger market ... I can only hope the 4th album (whenever) will be better. Still ... seen them live twice now. Godsmack defo has anti-religious significance ... some other really cool groups are Spineshank ("Play God" and Can't Be Fixed" are awesome) and "Drowning Pool" and if you like female vocalists "Lacuna Coil aren't too bad.
