You would do a better job throwing them off a cliff... Or smashing their skull in with a hammer...

You aren't going to get them to challenge their religion. They have too much stock in it.

There are multiple layers here. There is the truly contemptible creationist fantasy, and the less contemptible - but only in comparison -fantasy of the "better place".

You needn't attack both at once. And given the circumstances, it may not be fruitful to attack the latter.
