80% of the population, a population that has amongst it some of the most affluent Americans? And they reckon they're oppressed?

Fuck me! At least in the UK the po'lil' suckers can actually claim to be the minority ... wait, wait, it's coming to me ... oh no they can't. The census reckons there's 72% of them!

Question: When is 72% not 72%?

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

As you have been told repeatedly you CAN post but your posts are held in a queue until approved by a moderator ... that's because you are still being moderated. This will continue until we're convinced you will behave reasonably ... I don't know whether you've been promised something else, if so I'm not aware of it. All this whinging about being moderated (which YOU brought on yourself) doesn't help convince anyone you're willing to play ball.

I've been thinking a lot about what has been said here and I don't know, some of what Edaward says is making sense. I think I might be wrong. I think I might believe in god again.

I mean, I'm not a Christian agin, but I just don't think that I can accept something came from nothing. There just has to be something. I've been reading a lot of atheist stuff and the more I read the less it makes sense.

Well in the US it doesn't matter what time you make the joke, the 12 noon thing is a UK thing. But nevertheless, you are correct. Big Grin

So many fricken April Fools today. I haven't fallen for one yet though. As soon as I read Eilonnwy's statement of "faith" I thought in my mind "Yeah...bullshit".
