Naturally our attitudes towards him changed when he came out as a theist, but this was only to be expected. This is a forum for discussion, and if one member wants to espouse silly beliefs then they should expect criticism. It was he who decided to turn nasty and start insulting people for no reason, and it was only his actions that earned him a warning. Can't see how we "taunted" him other than pointing out the mistakes in his arguments.
He swore, he called people names for no reason, he created arguments out of quotes that weren't even said by people. He acted in the manner of a troll, and we don't tolerate trolls around here. How did we humiliate him? By making it so his posts were moderated? He brought that upon himself, and strangely the action worked, since he stopped making rude and idiotic posts altogether. Perhaps you meant when I made him admin? Well that was for an April Fools joke, but I guess he didn't see the irony. I hardly see how it is "humiliating" when the rest of the forums thought of him as a troll anyway.
This forum has warned 3 people over the course of its 7 months alive. The first was Daystar who was with us for 400 posts or so and whilst he brought some interesting stuff to the discussion at first, he became increasingly close minded when we discussed other things like Evolution, and resulted to petty insults when his views were refuted. He was warned and then banned permanently when he tried to disrupt forum activity by creating multiple accounts and spamming everyone with PMs. The second was yourself, and since you've reformed there really isn't much to say. We warned you, you heeded our warnings. The third is Edward, and I've outlined our reasons for banning him above.
People like Dagda and CoxRox and Pete (before he left because he didn't like me questioning him) were all good theists who obeyed the rules, and some of them continue to obey the rules to this day. We are anything but a witchhunt.
