"You should have done X Y or Z" makes me want to stab the person in the eye with a fork.

I also LOATHE con advertising:

"SALE! UP TO X% off"

"FROM as little as $X"

"Buy now and receive a free purple wanglemurtzle valued at $5000"


"The first 100 callers get seventeen for the price of one"

"Try it free for 30 days"


PLUS almost every toothpaste, cosmetics*,shampoo and breakfast cereal ad.


I hate advertising almost as much as I hate politics;both are innately amoral in my opinion.



*One big cosmetic company (Estee Lauder I think) was massively fined here for making therapeutic claims for its 'anti-aging' cosmetic.

I love it when some loser who has no idea what having an ounce of empathy is like says, "Can't have it all!" orrr "Can't have your cake and eat it too!"... when some catastrophic pwnage happens to me. --Who says that?

I also tend to get violent when I hear anything spoke in "hillbilly" whether it's intentional or just messing.

Got threatened with this last night,

"De ye wonna swally yer teeth big mon?!"

That's a Northern Irish accent for you, he meant: Do you want to swallow your teeth big man?!

I found that pretty unpleasant at the time, but thinking about it, in that accent, it's quite musical.
