how about "at the end of the day".. this little phrase really gripes my ass. it is generally spouted by self satisfied know-it-alls who believe they are right no matter what, in a sort of " you make a great point, and i really can't refute or argue my point any further, but IN THE END OF THE DAY, Im still right"...
agggghhhhhhhhgggrrrrrrrrr!!!!!
"It doesn't matter if you believe in God or not, He believes in you."
"You're taking that verse out of context." "Can you honestly look at the world and believe that it happened by accident?" RE: Phrases that annoy you

Officespeak.
EG Military and sporting analogies. Taking the piss at a meeting, I once actually said "Let me run this up the flagpole and see if anyone salutes'' Everyone nodded soberly.. Being referred to collectively as"the troops" "We want a level playing field' Humbug. What a businessman craves above all is a monopoly. The use of the word 'team' in hierarchical business, and the criticism "You are not a team player". Damn right, fuck your team and the hosre it rode in on..
I'm with you on that Pad. Particularly annoying are the euphemisms: downsizing, rightsizing, reducing our labor investment, etc.
Can you tell my employer made a number of positions redundant yesterday?
I see these on Facebook ALL. THE. FUCKING. TIME.:
"Don't give up on God, because he hasn't given up on you." Phrases that have to do with how "awesome" America is, including but not limited to: "God bless America." "Support our troops." "I'm proud be an American because [insert cheesy comment about how it's a free country]"
Don’t ask.
"2 for the price of 1".........you sons of bitches have been raking me over the coals all this time GAAAAAAAAH!
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

We probably hit this one, but I'm not going back to look. I offer it up for dear Mehmet:
Love Freedom? Thank a Soldier.
Trying to update my sig ...
"If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."
I hate the shit out of this. I call it "Thumper Wisdom"- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wui-PNqJrxs I don't want friends like that. I understand using tact around people of whom you're unsure, but friends are supposed to tell each other the truth, even if the truth is ugly. I more prefer "Dr. Seuss Wisdom"- “Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.” 42
