Facebook Duel; part 2
October 8, 2011 at 8:44 pm
To put my recent status update into context, I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas...severe drought, and brutal summer. We are enjoying the second rain in many months, and scores of my FB friends are posting thanks to the magical sky wizard:
ME: Thank Coriolis for this rain!
Well...the coriolis effect, the angle of incidence (sunlight), the hydrological cycle, the moon's effect on Earth...and the symphony of naturalism plays on...
Now, I shall sit back with a tall rum and coke (damn you hot Baccardi girl at the liquor store), and enjoy the aftermath.
Let your anger be as a monkey in a piñata; hiding with the candy, hoping the children do not break through with a stick.

Let's see..... Shitstain Perry issues a proclamation for prayers for rain in April and 6 month later the fucking sky daddy answers?
Glad I wasn't hanging by my balls over a slow fire waiting for the old fuck to do something.

But shouldnt they have cursed 'god' for witholding the rain for months if he is the weather wizard!
I know it only ever gets good things attributed to it.
Do you think I could get my wife to take this view about me?

If there was a kid in school, that would severely punish those that didn't like him, or ignored him, and let everyone continue as normal if they liked him...we'd call him a bully.
How is it difficult to make that connection?

Prayer works. As long as you have a large enough of recipient pool and/or a long enough time factor for it to take effect and discard any recipients whom God didn't want to help in the first place.
Archeologists near mount Sinai have discovered what is believed to be a
missing page from the Bible. The page is currently being carbon dated in
Bonn. If genuine it belongs at the beginning of the Bible and is believed to
read "To my darling Candy. All characters portrayed within this book are
fictitous and any resemblance to persons living or dead is purely
coincidental." - Newsreader in 'Red Dwarf 2: Better Than Life'
