In the hospital
October 19, 2011 at 7:15 pm
Have to keep this short. I went to the ER this morning with chest pain and shortness of breath, etc. I though I was having a heart attack.
Doc told me a little while ago that I have a pulmonary embolism (blood clots in the lungs). So I get to enjoy hospital hospitality for a few days while they thin my blood and make sure I don't get a thrombosis lodged my my heart or brain.
No prayers, please. Send cash and booze.

Bugger. I've been there, buddy. Make sure you act cold all the time so they bring you those cozy heated blankets. Hope you feel better soon.

Sorry to hear about your illness. I can relate. Get well soon.

"In short, Meyer has shown that his first disastrous book was not a fluke: he is capable of going into any field in which he has no training or research experience and botching it just as badly as he did molecular biology. As I've written before, if you are a complete amateur and don't understand a subject, don't demonstrate the Dunning-Kruger effect by writing a book about it and proving your ignorance to everyone else!
