Life is awesome - argumentum ad populum
RE: Life is awesome - argumentum ad populum
Who disagreed with that, cuntosaurus Rex? I didn't. I do recall bowing out of this conversation in regard to you because I cannot have a conversation with someone who thinks positive thoughts cure all mental illnesses and video games cure cancer. I don't give a shit if you think I am having "wrong thoughts" or taking the "wrong path." I'm not taking health advice from someone who repeats the same bullshit in every post and has, thus far, gone down his own ill-defined "wrong paths" more times than I can count. Keep bashing around in this thread telling people that should could thinking is bad while telling them how they should and could be thinking. I can't believe you fell for that shit in your seminar.

Hey everybody, do no use emoticons. Smile Wink Tongue

That's fine Shell B, I can only convince, make you doubt, or upgrade your beliefs. I don't expect you to conform to everything I say.

I never said video games cure cancer, I said they can assist in reference to the video I posted. It seems you misconstrue a lot of what I'm saying at times.

Why would it be an upgrade? Because they're your beliefs? You obviously can't make me doubt or convince me of anything. I hate to burst your bubble. Anyway, let me know when you have something new to add.

I can convince you of my beliefs, I can make you doubt my beliefs, or I can upgrade the beliefs you already have with new information.

That's cool, it's not like it sounds logical at all or anything...

You didn't make me doubt your beliefs. I already thought they were bullshit before you came along. You just didn't know me yet. You certainly can't convince me of your beliefs. As for upgrading my beliefs, unless you have something new to add, the answer is, no you cannot. What you have presented so far amounts to a load of hogwash that you cannot even abide by whilst telling others to do so. Again, you're wasting my time until you have something new to add. Even then, I doubt it will be time well spent. Surprise me.

You're right. Congratulations. Tongue Not everything you said was wrong, just most of it and the rest only in context.

Well you're obviously very close-minded about the world around you, perhaps a bit of a narcissist, sounds like a very destructive thought pattern not being trusting of your fellow human being and such.

Can you explain this to me.

What are you referring to here?

I agree, Kichi. Just the sort who has enough hubris to assume anyone who disagrees with him his closed-minded and narcissistic. Give him long enough and I am sure he will find a way to dress himself in pink.

Listen, new guy, when you recognize something as hogwash, you do not trust it to be true. That is idiotic. Also, assuming I am a narcissist is also idiotic. You know nothing of me, save that I vehemently disagree with you. The fact that you want us all to conform to your beliefs, though you contradict them in your very manner of speaking leads me to believe that you are projecting. *yawn* I have a book to write and you are wasting my time. I am gone for at least an hour because I have to submit by midnight. Honestly, if you have nothing convincing to add to your spiel, why are you bothering? We're not here to psychoanalyze each other.
