I was visiting some friends - hobby xtians, but that's another subject - and there was a mutual friend there with an interesting theory; she maintained that a man's height in inches divided by his shoe size gave you the length of his, shall we say, 'vital statistic'. Applying the formula to my friend gave a result of 6 inches (whether this is accurate I don't know, and I care even less). I was well pleased with the result but somehow our friend wasn't convinced, and decided to revise her theory instead of reviewing the evidence.

Hmn, i like the results of this equation as well, I think I'm going to run with it. Perhaps we could confront your friend with more than one example of "the evidence" to make a stronger case. I'll need time to come up with a way to convincingly falsify said "evidence"...of course. We might be able to make some hypothesis regarding Harry's "evidence" as well (as a fellow primate). The guy has big feet by all accounts, and that can only mean bad things.
