So, OK ... I've been reading (for the first time ever), J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter books, I started 2 weeks ago and I've just finished book 5. At the same time I have started to rewatch the movies and I thought that they wouldn't be as good as the first time I saw them but they really, really are ... in fact, having read the first 5 books and the first 2 movies, I have to say they're actually better, allowing for the limitations of film over books they have done a truly remarkable job transferring the stories to film (Jason Isaacs was awesome as Lucius Malfoy).
I'm looking forward to seeing HP & The Prisoner of Azkaban and, once I've watched all 5 we have on DVD (and hopefully by then having read all the books), I am very much looking forward to seeing HP & The Half-Blood Prince" Kyu Angry Atheism

The films are a lot worse then the books. Also I stopped reading HP after the 4th book, which were a very long time ago. Think I perahaps where 12 or something.

I'm loving them and now it looks like Snape is actually a double agent for Voldemort it's looking like it's going to be better still. I am sooo going to see the film. Kyu Angry Atheism

Everyone have their own taste, some like it some don't. The last book atleast wouldn't been that good what I've heared.
