The Quran never said nothen about wearing socks with thongs/flip flops/sandals.
Is it always wrong?
Is it OK if you don't go past your letter box?
So many of the important issues of today go unanswered.
If it was divinely inspired it should have anticipated my questions.

I always count tomato as a vegetable, for so long we were dismissed as meat and three vegetable people, but with tomato sauce we are something more.

Indeed,same with the New Testament.EG it completely ignores those crucial questions:

(1) Should a woman wearing a corduroy skirt be stoned or burned alive?

(2)What is the preferred method of executing a man with a comb-over ?

(3) Is sex with a poodle always wrong?
