Creationist Science teacher
I was in college today, and my Science teacher mentioned Intelligent design. He said that scientist was know rejecting Evolution and was know accepting Intelligent design. He put on a video of scientist from America trying to prove Evolution to be wrong.

At the end of the lesson, when everyone had gone, He showed me a presentation he had made to refute Evolution, Big Bang, and that the earth isn't millions of years old.

Does anyone know some good Information on Abiogenesis and Evolution bring in to him next week and prove him wrong????

I don't think you should bring in some information on evolution, but rather a straight jacket. How the hell did he get that job?!
What was he saying exactly? because I think the best way to shut him up would be to disprove his arguments.
What about the expanding universe, the fossil record?

I don't think that any evidence you could show him would make much difference, unfortunately. Most of the ID/creationism stuff consists of misrepresentations, distortions, and just out and out lies about evolutionary theory, and the rest is simply made up. You can find refutations for pretty much all of it at sites such as TalkOrigins.org, or you could watch the video series "Why do people laugh at creationists?" by YouTube user Thunderf00t: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLA...ature=plcp.

Alternatively, you could bring some of what this teacher is spouting here for us to dissect. I for one would be interested to know the name of this American 'scientist' in the video.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Creationists won't listen to a damned thing you say. It's their way or not at all. Just give him the finger.
You should notice that they spend more time trying to rip apart facts than support their own baseless assertions. If he's so right about everything (they like to act as if they know the entire workings of the universe) ask him to demonstrate god's existence. When he fails that (which he will) then all the other assertions about creation will mean fuck all and the argument disappears. Cut off the head of the snake, in this case his gawd. Like it says in my sig - A does not prove B without first proving A.
They think that if they disprove evolution and the age of the universe it will some how make their god the default and correct answer.
Just because we don't know what caused X, doesn't make Y's the default answer.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

If he's open to challenges from students, have at. If he's not, keep your head down and concentrate on figuring out what answers he wants on the tests. We don't need any academic martyrs!

He said that: Evolution is a racist theory, made to justify European imperialism and Slavery
If the world is so old why are there so little people
if the big bang happened why do Galaxies spin in both clockwise and anticlockwise directions
The universe is beautiful, not chaotic
he learnt in University that non living things evolve

He also brought up Dr Rudolf Virchow, he's criticism of Darwin, and omnis cellula e cellula

So you have a fucking moron teaching science. Report him to the administration. The education you save may be your own.
