Independent Scotland??? Yes please.

LOL, who do you think subsidises Scotland?

Funny how your asswipe government is aloud to be prejudice over our (English/Welsh and NI) Uni students and get away with it. Fucking joke.

Don't take this personally Frankie as I love your posts and think you're a stand up member. But the SNP is wank, Scottish Independence is in no way good for Scotland, economically it would be a disaster and the status quo is the best situation the Scottish people should hope for as they get to make their own decision and bleed the coffers of English tax payers by £5b every year. And that goes for Welsh and NI too.

I vote Labour as our Tories never ever, ever have policies, so why should I vote for them? The Lib Dems have proven to be flip flopping charlatans so they can die in a fire, but if they had Vince Cable in charge i'd think again.

I would vote for someone other then Labour if something better with less pricks came along.

The seas between Indonesia and Australia are very different than the border between Mexico and the USA. The risks of dying during the crossing are much higher for one, you would need to be extremely desperate to want to do it.

I believe that people who have entered the country illegally if they have claimed asylum, should be accommodated in appropriate facilities (with the ability to go outside into the general community) while their claims are being processed.

I have had a bit of a change of mind on this issue as of late. So I have changed my position towards the offshore processing of asylum seekers. Since on-shore processing will just encourage people to risk their lives on the hazardous voyage from Indonesia to Australia.

In the USA.... I support the Democrats in general.... I'd rather be broke than be an asshole. I believe that investing in your people is the only way to be properous... investment is finance 101 and should be common sense for any government. Tea baggers want to use hilljack finance to run the economy... it doesn't make sense any way you cut it.

Hilljack finance? No, hilljack finance would be keeping your eye on your money and putting both barrels in anyone who tried to steal it, burying them in the yard in broad daylight.

The Tea Party wants to do something else entirely...lol. I sometimes get the feeling that they've become a mouthpiece for interests which are not their own without even realizing it...Thinking
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Lol.... you really think they're that far off? I'd argue you pretty much nailed their financial philosophy there.

Nah, key differences, they seem to be all about actually handing the money to those who wish to steal it, and preventing any real consequences to befall those who are caught in the act. Deregulation and hilljack finance dont mesh. Hilljacks are the folks who stood up to coal companies, revenuers, etc. Long tradition of favoring people over business, demanding that businesses be held accountable for the things they do, and banding together to force redress when they are not being compensated or have been wronged. Gotta rep the hilljacks man.

Fair enough.... hilljack finance would be much preferable than just plain evil.

"Politics is the poor man's religion" - funny, I've always heard this quote the other way around. I definitely don't agree with the quote the way it's stated here.

Anyway, I support a technocratic government with a socialist economy. A government run by the knowledgeable, with income redistributed to promote social equality.

Led by the principle: "From each according to their ability, to each according to their contribution." As well as, equal opportunity for all. This begins with education.

I don't support either the Democrats or Liberals as groups.

As it stands, I support the free-market economic system because from experience, it stands as the most successful one in all of history, but nothing is perfect however. So I support more privatization of business, with additional welfare plans and consumer protection, even though I am not totally sure yet what all of consumer protection entails.

Socially, I lean progressive, but I also oppose abortion except in the cases of rape, incest or danger; I support gays in uniform; I also support the 2nd amendment and immigration standards. But, I also don't think the FCC should have any control over content and I support looser pornography laws. I don't believe in sex after marriage, either.

It's funny, there are countries out there run like that. For some reason they keep getting bombed and attacked and stuff.... by the US. Why is it we hate real human equality.

Your all deluded with issues that don't really matter like abortion, gays, fcc, porno and so forth. There are reason they talk about that shit, to get us distracted and not think about real issues that effect all of humanity. It is to incite fear and the unknown into people so they become scared, and when a person is scared, it is easier to act irrationally. If you support abortion laws you support the control of the free will of another human being by a government entity.

Wake up.
