Intelligent Design, Proof V

RE: Intelligent Design, Proof V
You think his mathematical understanding would be higher, and understand the rules and restrictions of math.

I guess not. Algorithms is not Physics, Biology, or Chemistry. I guess he'll be creating an Algorithm for proving god.

Our concern is not about how they make it (it is unknown till now)
Whichever the method that they use, it will need external data about the location (and route) to take

This external source must be intelligent and have a purpose to send this data to eels

GOD
My cat did find its way through our little town from one home to another without ever having seen the way, and that's crossing streets and canals, about 2 miles. That never led me to believe there must be God. There is a better, more reasonable and most importantly a more interesting explanation, simply because experience shows that there always is.

Appealing to a God is just giving up the search and becoming fat.

Same for the eels, they do that because it has given them some kind of evolutionary advantage to do so. The ones who didn't do this just aren't around any more probably because of a lack of selection for mating or whatnot.

The 'external data' is the geomagnetic information that they record for their original location.

"Geomagnetic phenomena are varied and widespread, so it is hardly surprising that many types of creature are known to use - or suspected of using - magnetic orientation. These include a great many migratory marine animals, including: the aforementioned bacteria, nudibranchs, lampreys, sharks, skates, rays, salmon, tunas, eels, sea turtles, seabirds, dolphins and other toothed whales." - Elasmo-research.org

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

The monarch butterflies migratory route is interesting in that it takes 4 generations to do a full cycle.
Check it out.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monarch_butterfly

Quote:the flight patterns appear to be inherited, based on a combination of the position of the sun in the sky and a time-compensated Sun compass that depends upon a circadian clock based in their antennae. New research has also shown these butterflies can use the earth's magnetic field for orientation. The antennae contain cryptochrome, a photoreceptor protein sensitive to the violet-blue part of the spectrum. In presence of violet or blue light, it can function as a chemical compass, which tells the animal if it is aligned with the earth's magnetic field, but it cannot tell the difference between magnetic north or south. The complete magnetic sense is present in a single antenna.

God did it is the idiots catch all answer to hard questions and means nothing.

When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Muslim Scholar, don't you know that eels travel by hovercraft nowadays?

Yes, their rapidly improving standard of living and demands for mobility have become a major concern for global warming!

Do you mean that somehow they decided to record their birth and current location then somehow, at some point they decided to travel the path between them and turning around obstacles, wet land, sand, etc.

Wow, you are really an Atheist.

Ever heard of "genetic information" MS?

Genetic information doesn't explain why and how they record locations, the only logical answer is an external source instructing/making them to do it.
