Come to church, get a gun

It's like giving a gun to a toddler. So unwise.

As it says in 1 Corinthians 5:5 (CEV) = "You must then hand that man over to Satan. His body will be destroyed, but his spirit will be saved when the Lord Jesus returns."

What better way to follow that passage than to give folks guns so that they can shoot people with them?

Didn't they give the guns away for hunting purposes?
I couldn't open the original link but found another article on it and that is what it said. They were trying to lure hunters in the church with the promise of a hunting rifle or shotgun.

And terrifying new meaning to the question "would you kill a person if god asked?" Let's hope the answer is a universal "no" to the people being handed free guns, eh?
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

They wer also giving away hand guns. You don't hunt animals with hand guns; you hunt people with hand guns.

- Someone gets shot.
- The congregation prays for him/present faith healer lays hands on him.
- He dies.

- God works in mysterious ways!

You'd think...almost by definition...that "hunters" would already have a gun.

Well when Jesus doesn't protect them they can use the hand gun.

You need different kinds of guns for different kinds of animals. I wouldn't want to shoot a squirrel with a 300 win mag.

It's no wonder the athiest forum members feel as they do. Bribery? People don't need guns they need the gospel.

If it could be proven beyond doubt that God exists...
and that He is the one spoken of in the Bible...
would you repent of your sins and place your faith in Jesus Christ?

People don't need the gospel, they need truth. Something the gospel doesn't provide.
