Here we are in civilized and enlightened societies and cultures in high tech times and we are not smart enough to recognize that the world will continue in strife as long as we men do not give women full equality as a minimum to what men should do towards the care of families.

I hope you are astute enough to see this. If you do nothing then you know not what duty to your family should be. The women in your family deserve to be first class citizens.

Men are maintaining God’s curse against women. He will rule over you.

Men. Christians Catholics and Muslims. Free your women. It’s time.

Man up.

Please.

DL

If you look around the world, it seems that women have it better in christian societies than in any non-christian societies. I'm trying to remember if a woman has ever held a major government office in a communist nation. A man being the head of the household doesn't free him from doing his share of the work around the house. The bible tells husbands to love their wives as they love themselves. This doesn't allow him to mistreat her in any way; and vice versa. I don't think a man is qualified to perform the nurturing role of the mother. Men and women are naturally equipped to fulfill different roles in the family and society in general. God made it clear that a wife's first priority should be the care of the family and the home, but that doesn't mean that she can't pursue a career or do anything outside the home.

True. But her career will be at 70% of what a man would earn for the same work.

And all will be well if she remembers her place. Below men. He shall rule over you is holy writ.

You work hard to keep women less equal than men.

I wasn't referring to the wage thing. I was referring to this
"And all will be well if she remembers her place. Below men. He shall rule over you is holy writ.

You work hard to keep women less equal than men."
Trying to decide if that's how you feel it should be or if you're just pointing out that that's how it is.

Just how it is.

I believe that the law of the sea, women and children first, should also apply on land as it is man's first duty to protect the lives of his family.

The ideals of equality are great but if men have forgotten who is the center and holder of the family, women, then they are too stupid and immoral to, as scriptures say, ---- he will rule over you.

Seems that men have forgotten why they were to rule over you women and children. They have turned all about family to all about themselves.

Why did you leap immediately to communism? In my home of Australia, numerous studies show that christianity is either not the majority religion or roughly equal, numbers-wise, with no religion, and we had a female prime minister. Sweden only has 18% of the population willing to say they believe in a god, and their cabinet has plenty of women, including a female deputy prime minister.

Which is also skipping over the very important question of why did you leap immediately to communism? What were you trying to say, there?

Australia and Sweden don't try to suppress religion and many non-christians are not atheists. The nature of communism is to suppress any kind of a belief in God. They are officially atheists.

Christians don't believe that women are less equal than men.

That's weird, because your book makes it quite clear that they are. Its almost as if you've cherry picked the parts you like from the bible whilst ignoring and overlooking the bad parts. Nah, what am I saying? You wouldn't do that, right?

'You can have all the faith you want in spirits, and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to put you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways.' - Dr House

“Young earth creationism is essentially the position that all of modern science, 90% of living scientists and 98% of living biologists, all major university biology departments, every major science journal, the American Academy of Sciences, and every major science organization in the world, are all wrong regarding the origins and development of life….but one particular tribe of uneducated, bronze aged, goat herders got it exactly right.” - Chuck Easttom

"If my good friend Doctor Gasparri speaks badly of my mother, he can expect to get punched.....You cannot provoke. You cannot insult the faith of others. You cannot make fun of the faith of others. There is a limit." - Pope Francis on freedom of speech
