You can ignore romantic feelings as well. People don't really know this stuff about themselves because I guess they don't want to, to a certain extent.

Yes you can repress your sex drive but you still have a sex drive it's just repressed. Repression is also mentally unhealthy.

We're talking about different things here and I'm just not interested in defending your straw man.

And having a sex drive but suppressing it =/= asexuality.

Unless you're already asexual or have taken hormones or had castration, the best you can do is repress your sex drive.
You call it what you like. I know what it is, you should try it if you have the strenght of character required and see for yourself.
I'm not asexual in the least, yet I can become one at will.

You already admitted it would still be there just suppressed.

I don't want to suppress my sex drive for no good reason.

I think you should educate yourself on asexuality. People identify as asexuals that have had and still have sexual urges, they just hold them so insignificant on an intellectual level, or inconvenient at some point in their lives that they simply overcome them to an exceptional degree. That's not to say this is the easiest thing in the world for everyone, nor that this is the only type of asexualism there is.

I said from the beginning all you can do is suppress it and it would still be there, then you agreed with that after originally saying you could remove it altogether. Then you went back to saying you can remove it at will again. I have been consistent, you have not, you're misrepresenting me by falsely representing me as misrepresenting you when I have not. I have been consistent, you have not.

See, for you it would be something hard to do. For me, it's like a switch.

Well..I mean asexuality is defined as having "the lack of sexual attraction to anyone, or low or absent interest in or desire for sexual activity."  There isn't really much in there about 'suppressing' something.

I think you got lost in my figure of speech. I despise talking to people who act like they don't understand what you're saying only to be winning an imaginary argument.
